bluebell does the laundry

(a cute little true story about one of my best friends, bluebell bunny)

bluebell, a cute grey very soft bunny stuffie with big pretty floppy ears, is sleeping under blankets with portia and fabian, who are stuffed spiders

a little bunny named bluebell was sleeping with her friends, portia and fabian, on a nice fall day. but as she came to be awake, a thought came to her:

"isn't it laundry day?"

she perks up

oh yes.... it's laundry day

she looks at a big and very full basket of laundry. the clothing is obviously not hers, it is the clothing of an otherkin.)

she pulled the laundry out into the hall...

she is comically small compared to the giant basket. there's no way she could really be pulling it or pushing it anywhere.

...and pushed it to the elevator

she pushes it down a carpeted old looking apartment hallway that makes her seem especially tiny.

her little paw presses a glowing elevator button.

but when she got to the laundry room, she realized she forgot her keys!

she looks at a lock in a old door

now she's on the floor next to the giant basket of laundry looking very dismayed

oh well. up the stairs she goes!

she implausibly scrambles up stars that her way too big for her

she even more implausibly goes down (or perhaps falls down) them, with a big chunk of keys beside her

she got the laundry started.

she suppooosedly puts the clothes in the washing machine. there's no way tho, she's soooo little. she's standing on a ledge and she can't even reach the opening.

now she's adding soap despite not even clearly holding on to the giant soap bottle.

she presses the start button. this is slightly more believable.

the display reads 25.

she had free time, so she poked around the laundry room.

the washing machine had an unused coin mechanism, which she checked for quarters she could steal.

she sits mischievously on top of the coin collector

but when she looks in the coin chamber, it's dark and empty

sadly it seemed she would not be getting any gumballs this week.

there was a table full of free stuff.

it's mostly just a bunch of calendars and greeting cards and a promotional frisbee and a retractable lanyard holder and a lidless piece of tupperware.

but none of it was any good...

but there was a cool wind chime hanging in the room.

she touches the wind chime's pendulum.

ding! (giggle.)

there wasn't anything else to do, so she spent the time gaming, because she's a gamer bunny.

she's playing old school runescape. she just killed the highwayman north of seer's village! what a little menace! there's a visual timer on the table that shows twenty minutes left.

the time has elapsed, and now the timer is blinking.

time to move the clothes to the dryer! wheeeeee!

she is blurry and zooming past the camera riding in a wire basket cart full of clothes and towels.

now she is rolling towards the dryers

bluebell always checks the traps for link before she runs the dryer!

she's sticking her snoot near the lint trap. there's nothing in there.

but it seems like they didn't catch anything. oh well. boop!

she presses start. it says sixty minutes.

more time for video games!!

more old school runescape. she's chopping us in seer's village graveyard

then it was time to get the clothes from the dryer.

she is implausibly unloading stuff, dangling half out of the drier

she made sure to clear out the lint traps after, like a good bunny.

now she implausibly gathers the link from the trap

now she's suspiciously eying the ball of lint and hair

yuck!

she passed the wind chime on her way back up. surely one more boop wouldn't hurt?

sitting in the laundry basket, she reaches up to the pendulum of the windchime again

ding!!! *giggle*

she's tucked into the laundry basket looking very comfortable

there's always time for a little nap in the warm laundry.

but soon she's back to work!

she looks awake now

... riiiight after she gets herself a little bunny snack.

first she eats a plate of cheese and crackers

but then the plate is empty

ok! no more goofing off bluebell! (she said to herself) it's time to fold the laundry !

the most important part of folding laundry is putting on a youtube video to watch while she does it, because she has bunny adhd.

there's no way this bunny is actually folding the laundry. in the background a old school runescape unguided video is playing.

...and then getting overstimulated and needing to turn the video off, because she also has bunny autism...

the video has the pause symbol over it. bluebell is hiding her face looking overwhelmed.

but pretty soon, she was all done! yay!!!

she looks very proud on a big pile of folded laundry and sorted socks.

she's earned herself a little bunny treat! now how about that video?

she's watching the video again, and drinking from a cup of boba tea with a purple straw

maybe some things are best done one at a time...

for her, anyways.
